In 1872, the British Royal House of Perfume released a luxurious men's perfume, which included the most valuable natural extracts from different parts of the British Empire. The highest quality was highly appreciated by the British Queen Victoria. The Queen, as a sign of her admiration for the perfumes, presented the perfume house with her crown, a miniature of which was crowned a bottle of magnificent perfume. In 1999, British perfumer Clive Christian recreated the luxurious scent using the original formula of the British perfume house. The perfume, in honor of the date of its first appearance, received a laconic name - 1872.

Touching the skin, the magnificent scent mesmerizes with the artful combination of natural citrus extracts framed by spice and grain notes. The heart wins with an exquisite and sophisticated cocktail of jasmine, freesia, cyclamen and sage. Elegant notes of patchouli, incense and cedar in a musky-amber frame surround the magnificent composition.
